About The Job
Responsible for executing and socializing the overall Planning strategy for NM. Leads the communications, change frameworks and adoption operating models for all new planning efforts and positioning of digital planning initiatives following an intentional release management approach. Articulates the case for change and key messaging across the network offices, advisors as well as enterprise partners as part of a repeatable change framework, connecting all efforts back to the long-term planning strategy. This role will partner with Northwestern Mutual’s Change Management Office acting a business partner for that change.
This role works cross functionally connecting with leaders of other enterprise initiatives to identify and monitor any impacts. It will also ensure all impacts are understood and all are aligned with the overall vision and strategy.
What You'll Do
Leads a team of change and adoption consultants who engage across planning and client experience initiatives.
Aid the continual adoption of planning strategies, thought leadership and digital tools in networks offices who may be at different places in their planning engagement.
Socialize change impacts and stakeholder groups on key planning initiatives and communication plans
Work cross-functionally with enterprise partners to bring clarity and resolutions to issues through pilot feedback and more
Coordinate the development of materials and approaches to support building advocacy in the field
Coordinate event and influencer plans to align with overall communications strategy
Partner and collaborate with enterprise change management areas to stay aligned with and help influence the overall enterprise change management approach.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business or related field; or related work experience beyond the minimum required. Change management or communications background preferred.
Ten or more years of experience/knowledge of business strategy/operations/processes
Experience creating and implementing change management frameworks, methodologies and tools
Experience managing large-scale organizational change efforts
Strong planning skills, with ability to coordinate across a large team of subject matter experts
Experience leading and managing a team
Business acumen and understanding of organizational issues
Ability to influence others, challenge the status quo, shift thinking and move toward a common, enterprise vision
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships among leaders in the Home Office and Field and think strategically
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and project phases
Strong communications and presentation skills

$176,000.00 USD - $264,000.00 USDStructure 115:
