An Extra Set of Hands When It Counts
For Sydney, Assistant Director of Strategic Communications, a medication shortage turned an already busy week into a race against time. Her son had run out of his medication and when she called for a refill, the pharmacy delivered frustrating news: the medication was out of stock. The pharmacy staff said Sydney would have to find it elsewhere.
The timing couldn’t have been worse. The next day, Sydney had an important meeting that would take several hours. But she also needed to track down the medication. She decided to check with NM’s concierge service team. “I sent an email explaining my situation and got a reply almost immediately that they could help,” Sydney said.
After a quick conversation about which areas to target, Sydney’s concierge took over making phone calls and looking for pharmacies that had the medicine in stock. A few hours later, the concierge wrote back with good news — she had a pharmacy recommendation.
“I was so relieved she was able to find the medication,” Sydney said.
Thanks to the concierge’s successful search, Sydney was able to stay fully focused and present. She picked up the prescription on her way home from work.
Outsourcing Errands to Save Time & Stress
Olivia, Senior Director of Strategic Communications, quickly became a regular concierge user after the first time she tried it. She uses the concierge team for everything from mundane errands — Amazon returns, Girl Scout supply pickups, and shopping trips — to more involved tasks, like vacation planning and purchasing birthday party decorations for her children.
Recently, Olivia wanted to send a sympathy basket to a friend who lost a loved one. “I provided the overall budget, theme, and starter ideas, and the concierge team went shopping for a variety of items and pulled it together within a matter of days,” Olivia said. “My friend was touched.”
