What you will do:

This is a key role that will help drive the strategy for Wealth field engagement programs. In this role you will have the unique opportunity to work with NM Advisors, their teams and business partners across the home office.

How you will do it:

  • Work in close partnership with multiple stakeholder groups to ensure flawless execution of Wealth events – including the Wealth Management Summit and the Wealth Management Symposium. Coordinate and project manage as needed, including driving alignment with partner teams (Strategic Communications, Meetings and Events, Creative Services, Marketing, Compliance, Market Conduct, Career Distribution, Field Training, areas across the Wealth organization, and others).
  • Drive coordination and execution of a Wealth business speakers bureau – ensuring Wealth thought leaders speak/engage across the NM field in a proactive and coordinated way.
  • May develop and maintain platforms to evaluate field engagement, submitted issues/concerns and advisor retention risks. Analyze advisor performance, grid numbers and issues for themes and opportunities. Partner with other teams on resolution to drive field retention and engagement.
  • Ensures all deadlines are met and meetings/projects are within budget by structuring projects into manageable work units, crafting communication and delivery plans, continually communicating status with leadership and handling expectations with internal and/or external business partners, team members and other stakeholders. Handling details is key to success.
  • Coordinate and lead external sponsorships in partnership with the Wealth product organization for assigned meetings to include sponsorship package, fees, appropriate placement of sponsors (visibility, onsite sponsorship, booth placement etc.) and speakers.
  • Act as a resource to others inside and outside of the department on best practice related to field engagement and advocacy

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications or related field, or a combination of education and experience
  • At least 5 years of project management or related experience; experience delivering on high quality meetings and events is desired
  • Strong attention to details and working towards excellence
  • Experience working with NM's field force or another sales-oriented organization in a large-scale project, program management or meeting planning capacity
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills including business writing and public speaking in small- and large-group settings, and one-to-one interpersonal relationships
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and manage multiple assignments concurrently, set priorities and meet deadlines with a dedication to team objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and advise others in the appropriate use of communication strategies and tactics to inform and influence target audiences.
  • Sensitivity and flexibility in adapting to rapidly changing needs and priorities and quick, effective decision-making skills.
  • Ability to listen to, engage, negotiate and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze collaboration and execution problems and opportunities; and develop and implement coordinated solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel to meetings.
