User Interface Engineer

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Applies engineering best practices in order to analyze and develop software solutions.
  • Develops software using established development and continuous integration practices.
  • Utilizes established monitoring and automation processes.
  • Conducts code evaluations.
  • Participates in setting team standards and best practices.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years professional experience required
  • Familiarity using continuous integration and deployment concepts
  • At least 1 year experience with JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS
  • Nodejs desired

Bonus Points

  • Experience consuming and contributing to design systems
  • Familiarity with public cloud and associated technologies (AWS, Azure, Containerization)
  • Knowledge of responsive design, semantic markup and accessibility standards
  • Experience working with design/UX partners to create a consistent user experience

This job is not covered by the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement.
