Job Title: Test Engineer

Job Description: The Test Engineer at Northwestern Mutual Life Company in Milwaukee, WI will review and analyze business requirements and functional specifications and define Test Strategies and Test Plans. Develop and Execute Test Plans for the stories that are pulled in current sprint. Perform functional, integration, regression, and cross browser testing of IAM applications. Use SOAP UI, Postman to validate Web Services and create Test Data using custom built workflow. Log Defects in Jira and co-ordinate with Developer in fixing the issues. Create Documentation of testing improvements in Confluence. Develop automated test scripts in JavaScript using Kevlar Framework for regression scenarios. Review test results of daily automation run and report issues. Coordinate with Offshore team and assign work items. Develop strategies and solutions for developing test automation framework and solutions. Perform regression testing before every release to ensure quality of product to market. May telecommute up to two days per week.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus three years of test engineering experience. Three years of experience must include three years of experience with each of the following: (1) penetration testing; (2) developing test plans based on features and requirements; (3) integration testing, functional testing, and cross browser testing; (4) test management tools including JIRA for logging defects and maintaining tests; (5) Java and JavaScript; and (6) automated test tools including Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG. Must also have one year of experience with Gitlab CI.
