Job Title: Sr. Software Test Engineer

Job Description: The Sr. Software Test Engineer at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in New York, New York will participate in automating test scenarios of various mobile-based projects. Update automation repositories with latest tool upgrades so that it can support latest platforms for testing. Create an automation regression suite and responsible for maintaining automation repo making sure that code is up to date. Code review for automation scenarios. Review and collaborate on high-level functionality and infrastructure of entire application under test. Responsible for complete end-to-end automation. Using node.js upgrade automation framework with latest tools to support new features. Deliver process improvements with references. Set up continuous integration for test automation and implementation of parallel testing. Utilize Github/Gitlab for source code management. Design and implement microservices automation.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field plus two years of experience implementing functional and integration end-to-end testing. Will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus five years of progressive experience implementing functional and integration end-to-end testing. Two years of experience must include two years of experience with each of the following: (1) JavaScript, Java, Node.js, CucumberJS and Gherkin; (2) automation tools including Selenium, Appium, and WebdriverIO; (3) setting up continuous integration for test automation and implementation of parallel testing; (4) Github or Gitlab for source code management; (5) designing and implementing microservices automation; (6) REST / SOAP services and clients; (7) framework design and enhancement; (8) cloud services to run automation; (9) mentoring junior automation engineers; and (10) owning entire mobile automation test suites.
