Sr. Quality Transformation Specialist

What’s the role?

The Sr. Quality Transformation Specialist reports to Assistant Director - Enterprise Quality.

This role will ensure standard quality practices and processes are followed while leading a large scale transformational initiative. This senior role requires a candidate who has significant Quality Assurance experience and proven success in leading testing of large and complex IT projects and has a track record of implementing innovation successfully, across Agile and DevOps.

The Sr. Quality Transformation Specialist will assist the Enterprise Quality Assistant Director in implementing and governing of Release Confidence (evaluating quality of deployment) setting up of quality standards, defining, collecting and validating metrics. They will also be responsible for assisting the stakeholders with correcting the identified governance observations to ensure that we maintain high quality and high availability production system and services. They will also lead release confidence (from white box perspective) of multiple projects or scrum teams.

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

  • Well experienced in QA concepts, Metrics and Agile Methodologies (8+ years in QA and 3+ years in Agile desired)

  • 4+ years of testing leadership experience with excellent knowledge of Software Testing, Quality Assurance, Governance, and Automation (Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured)

  • Experience performing Test Maturity Assessments using TMMi/CMMi/TPI or any other informal assessment methodologies

  • Experienced in Production deployments and Quality Governance (2+ years)

  • Programming knowledge is an added advantage (preference for Java, Java Script and Node.js)

  • Candidate must be a self-starter and willing to work with ambiguity

  • Understand and execute all different type of stages in CI/CD also able to find out the root cause for any failures in the pipeline

  • Experienced (1+ Years) in SonarQube reports and how the integration work in Gitlab CI/CD pipeline

  • Whitebox testing (Unit & Integration) experience is preferable

  • Knowledge of BDD/TDD is required

  • Experience leading and developing internal practice capabilities, contributing to testing methodologies/toolkits, developing thought leaderships / whitepapers and influencing business leads

  • Knowledge of Jira and Test Management tools

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with continuous improvement and root cause analysis techniques.

  • Experience in conducting governance checks
