Sr Director Field Diversity & Inclusion

Principal Accountabilities for the role are:

D&I Consulting/Coaching

  • Consult, coach, and provide D&I support to Field Leadership and Career Distribution (CD) Team members.
  • Partner closely across CD Business Partners to support the build of D&I plans for assigned Network Offices that drive YoY results.
  • Analyze data and highlight areas of risk and opportunity for assigned NOs, on an ongoing basis to the VP of Field D&I.
  • Assist VP of Field D&I with key presentations, programs, and other strategic priorities that drive inclusion and diversity across the organization.

Segment Lead - Advancing women and underrepresented talent, sustained action for racial equity

  • Lead on elements of the Sustaining Action for Racial Equity Task Force, culture and talent  
  • Develop and execute the field strategy, including maturing existing practices and developing new practices and programs that continue to position the distribution system as a leader in advancing women and underrepresented communities, both internally and externally.
  • Partner closely and successfully with key stakeholders across the company, especially Career Distribution, to ensure the viability and long-term success of all programs and diverse talent pipeline development efforts, working across the organization to create plans, monitor progress/measure results, and adjustments as needed.   

Subject matter Expert - D&I education and learning

  • Design and facilitate education, presentations, and thought leadership pieces on D&I topics of varying levels of complexity for all levels of the Field Force.
  • Partner with Learning & Development as a subject matter expert to integrate D&I into existing and future company education materials.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ten plus years of significant diversity and inclusion experience to include coaching of senior leadership in large organizations, building education, and subject matter expertise in recruiting and advancing women and underrepresented talent.  
  • Ability to develop practical, systemic D&I strategies and execution plans in a variety of business environments and drive accountability for results.
  • An impact player with strong influencing, public speaking, facilitating, listening, and relationship management skills, along with demonstrated experience partnering across a matrixed environment.
  • Must demonstrate experience with driving cultural change in an organization.
  • Must be a senior leader who understands and appreciates that this work is both strategic and tactical and is ready to do the various types of work required to drive results.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Bilingual
  • Demonstrated expertise in Employee Resource Group leadership, coaching, instructional design.
  • Experience serving external D&I-focused organizations and community groups through board service, task forces, and/or advisory committees.

This job is not covered by the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement.
