Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Cumulative of prior level plus following:

  • Proactively monitor to prevent and resolve application system performance bottlenecks.
  • Proactively ensure SLAs are maintained and systems are built for sustainability.
  • Understand the technical concepts vital to do your job optimally and are aware of industry trends in your domain.
  • Consider and build for many different use cases but avoid over engineering.
  • Identify where to find answers and grow your own knowledge both with and without mentorship.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of professional IT experience
  • 3 years experience handling Desktop/Desk side support
  • Experience with troubleshooting Windows 10 Desktops, Laptops
  • Experience handling Windows devices with Intune/MEM (Preferred) or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Familiarity troubleshooting Virtual Desktops on at least one of the platforms: Citrix/ Microsoft/ Horizon
  • Familiar with PowerShell for automating tasks and remote administration
  • Experience with Jira
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes : Incident and Change Management
  • Basics of Networking as it related to Endpoints.
  • Experience with modern development and scripting languages is a plus
  • Experience managing, using and solving problems for MS O365- Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting Zoom, Slack is a plus
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills within area of expertise.
  • Understanding of high-availability concepts.
  • Basic experience with multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall is a plus
