Software Engineer

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Applies engineering best practices in order to analyze and develop software solutions.

  • Develops software using established development and continuous integration practices.

  • Utilizes established monitoring and automation processes.

  • Conducts code evaluations.

  • Participates in setting team standards and best practices.


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • At least 4-5 years of java development experience required

  • Experience writing and consuming RESTful APIS

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology

  • Familiarity using continuous integration and deployment concepts

  • Strong technical skills

  • Understanding of your business domain

  • Able to mentor new team members

  • Can communicate clearly to the business

Nice to Have:
  • Some experience with mainframe tools and languages including PL/I or COBOL, JCL Experience
