Senior Software Capture Engineer

We are looking for an individual with an Innovative mentality! You may be a fit for this role if you are open to creating and implementing new Process Flows in a collaborative environment with a team that is always open to hearing about new approaches. This is a great opportunity for an experienced senior software engineer with content management and intelligent document processing skills to work with a team of dedicated developers and product leaders to define architectural patterns and create a roadmap to advance key business initiatives. Intelligent document processing solutions that are used to extract information from textual data, primarily documents, for analysis and workflow automation will be the main focus of this role.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Applies engineering best practices in order to analyze and develop software solutions.
  • Develops software using established development and continuous integration practices.
  • Design and establish standard monitoring and automation processes.
  • Conducts code evaluations and design reviews.
  • Participates in setting team standards and best practices.
  • Ability to effectively connect and communicate with local and global partners.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years professional experience required
  • Familiarity using continuous integration and deployment concepts
  • At least 2 year experience with specific technical requirements/platforms (i.e. Java, JavaScript, .NET, Python)
  • Familiarity with public cloud and associated technologies (AWS, Azure, Containerization)
  • Experience in mentoring and developing new team members
  • Adhering to standard documentation practices
  • Must have previous experience working in a technical agile development team(Jira, etc)
  • Vendor management & system administration experience preferred

Skills:
Experience with the following:
Document workflow integration and management, Intelligent Document Processing (OCR, digitization, data extraction, barcodes, transformations), Data management, Java & Python Development, Kubernetes and GitLab
Nice to haves:
Familiarity with content tools and industry best-practices (Nuxeo, IBM Content Manager, OpenText Intelligent Capture, Instabase)
