The Design team leads the way by creating human, simple, and engaging products to help people plan, track, and protect their financial goals.

What is the role

A Senior Product Designer is part of a cross-functional team building and supporting an enterprise-scale design system, similar to the Carbon design system used by IBM. By delivering matching tooling for designers and engineers we increase consistency and efficiency in product development across the company. On this team, designers and engineers work closely together, from discovery to release, building, documenting, and supporting the design system.

The role includes a variety of responsibilities such as working with a small team of designers and engineers creating system tooling and necessary documentation, supporting users of the system in different ways, planning and managing the scope of work for a project team, and defining ways to improve our process and service.

There are a number of opportunities for professional growth in this role including working in a highly collaborative team environment, exposure to all aspects of design system work, and a high degree of personal ownership over assigned projects. Additionally, everyone on the team has time each week to build their skills and focus on professional development.

  • Use a collaborative and iterative process to design, prototype, and validate design ideas
