Senior Financial Planning Associate

What's the role?

Part of the Home Office Financial Services team, responsible for finalizing and reviewing comprehensive financial plans, risk and investment proposals, and documents for Financial Representatives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processes non-standard work requests.
  • Performs final quality checks.
  • Participates in daily huddles.
  • Provides training, coaching and mentoring to other team members.
  • Provides subject matter expertise.
  • Updates procedures as needed.
  • Identifies, experiments and solutions improvement opportunities.
  • Maintains confidentiality of clients' financial information.

This position has been classified as an Associated Person under NMIS guidelines.

High school diploma or equivalent.

College degree in business or finance/accounting course work or equivalent work experience.

Strong analytical, problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills.

Ability to follow standard procedures.

Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Professional acumen when communicating with Field and the Financial Services team.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, when required.

Ability to adapt quickly in a continuous improvement environment.

Previous experience in a multi-system, dual-monitor data entry environment.

Previous knowledge and work experience in Financial Planning Services.

Maintains confidentiality of clients' financial information.

Experience in a continuous learning and improvement (CLI) work environment.
