What's the Role?
In this role you provide vision and strategic direction for Northwestern Mutual’s Home Office HR Services & Solutions organization including contact center, payroll, transactions/core processing, and benefits/retirement administration in support of all employees, alumni and contractors. Collaborate closely with other Human Resources and business leaders to deliver our employee value proposition through highly effective consultation and processes resulting in outstanding end user experiences.
How You'll Do It:
Reinvent the possibilities of the HR Contact Center and Shared Services by leveraging digital capabilities and evolving the teams’ capabilities.
Provide leadership to a multi-disciplined team to ensure excellent customer service, adherence to service level agreements and tiered operations escalation to customers and vendor inquiries.
Accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of HR services to end users and that compliance requirements of HR processes and practices are met.
Lead process improvement projects and handles vendor relationships including auditing performance and recommending process improvements.
Collaborate horizontally across the enterprise to ensure effective design and implementation of strategies and initiatives.
Bring resolution to highly sensitive raised issues or issues that would set precedent for the company’s practices or procedures.
What You'll Need:
10 years of professional experience with 5 years of diverse Human Resources experience.
Experience in leading, develop, and coaching large, multi-level teams.
Demonstrated ability to use design thinking to create new ways of working to deliver business results.
Demonstrated ability to identify or anticipate future trends and respond accordingly.
Ability to build, innovate, collaborate, consult, and implement.
Proven track record to inspire change with all levels in the organization.
Proven business acumen.
