Senior Digital Analytics Engineer

The Senior Digital Analytics Engineer at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin will define digital analytics standards across the enterprise. Apply engineering standard methodologies to analyze, design, develop, deploy, document, and support digital analytics solutions. Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to ensure that tagging is implemented accurately to provide meaningful analytics and that standards are followed. Ensure implementation standards and documentation are maintained across NM’s digital properties. Utilize Adobe Analytics and tag management solutions. Ensure connectivity of user’s experience and journey through digital properties. Participate in agile story authoring, sizing, and demo sessions for product features. Participate in an agile implementation and maintenance of source control and release procedures. Contribute to a collaborative work environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions. Acquire, analyze, combine, synthesize, and structure data with clear definitions and sources for analytical consumption. Consult with data consumers to identify meaningful datasets for analytical consumption. Develop data products using continuous deployment and integration (CICD) practices. Participate in agile story authoring, sizing, and demo sessions for product features. Implement digital analytics on Single Page apps using Java Script. Utilize Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Optimizely, GA4, Data Warehouse, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, python, R, Teradata, MySQL, ETL, AWS, Python scripting, CDP platforms, ActionIQ, and Tealiumiq. Telecommuting permitted. Salary $123,386 - $200,200 per year.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Analytics, Computer and Information Sciences, or a related field, plus 2 years (or a bachelor's degree plus 5 progressive years) experience as a data analyst or related occupation. Experience must include 2 years with each of the following: (1) Adobe Analytics and either Heap or Google Analytics; (2) tag management solutions including Adobe Launch or Google Tag Manager; (3) developing custom code and events; (4) JavaScript and implementing digital analytics on Single Page apps; (5) Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Optimizely, GA4, Data Warehouse, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, python, R, Teradata, MySQL, ETL, AWS, Python scripting, CDP platforms, ActionIQ, and Tealiumiq; (6) continuous integration and deployment (CICD) concepts; (7) data acquisition, cleansing, feature engineering, debugging, and software documentation; (8) agile methods; and (9) working in a data lake environment.
