Senior Analyst, Data Analytics & Insights

What's the role?

The Senior Analyst, Data Analytics & Insights will be responsible for providing insights into the Marketing digital strategy, defining and implementing standardized reports to drive direction, connecting digital web data with customer data across multiple platforms. He or she will be the Adobe subject matter expert for marketing.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze current program data, web analytics platforms (Adobe, Optimizely, Heap), and campaign data to help determine effectiveness of marketing programs.  

  • Provide data to drive actionable insights that allows marketing to move more quickly, while making informed decisions.  

  • Partner with marketing, product, engineering, and analytics to ensure nm.com experiments / tests are setup consistently in Adobe and tagging is accurately implemented according to company standards. 

  • Ensure implementation standards and documentation are maintained across digital platforms in partnership with engineering. 

  • Monitor the integrity and accuracy of data generated in Adobe and work with the engineering and development teams to resolve any issues. 

  • Communicate to key stakeholders when issues have been identified and provide actionable timeline for when those issues will be fixed.  

  • Partner in defining digital reporting benchmarks and implement standardized reporting for leadership and key stakeholders across marketing.  

  • Support Ad Hoc analytics requests from marketing stakeholders and build out workspaces / reports as needed.  

  • Help manage cross-functional projects and assist in setting direction for business process improvements and systems enhancements.   

  

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

  •  4+ years of experience working with standard analytic tools: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Heap, etc with a focus in marketing.  

  • Experience with marketing channel classifications, developing custom tag management code/event tag solutions, and UTM tracking parameters.

  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies across the entire client journey.  

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and able to work with large amounts of data.   

  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport and interact with cross-functional teams. 

  • Experience with the following is a plus: Optimizely, JavaScript, Rscript, SQL, and Aginity
