What's the role?

Act as a key workforce planning partner for a value stream within enterprise operations. Partners with leader and HR Lead to develop and support the 3 year workforce planning process for the department/value stream within enterprise operation that builds the foundation for departments to act on their workforce strategy. Makes decisions on how to integrate the workforce planning cycle into the business, financial and learning plans to enable an enterprise strategy that addresses workforce needs and costs. Works collaboratively with HR and business leaders to develop and make recommendations on how to implement workforce strategies.

  • Conduct analysis of data using complex statistical analysis quantitative methods including linear regression, logistic regression, and methods for clustered and repeated measures data to identify trends, anomalies, and outliers.

  • Build accurate long term forecasts for volume, average handle time and shrinkage for all supported workgroups using advanced techniques.

  • Develop and maintain capacity plans looking out three years that align with long term business plans, budget requirements and learning needs.

  • Integrate and interpret data from many different sources including system applications, databases, Excel extracts and databases and format in order to perform in depth analysis.

  • Strong understanding of business area in order to build a comprehensive overview and analysis of critical business data to provide leaders with solutions and options to help resolve business problems.

  • Collaborate with real-time analysts and schedulers responsible for the output of month, weekly, daily and intraday forecast accuracy and scheduling efficiency.

  • Recommend KPI's and metrics for measuring and reporting business results and workforce gaps to business leaders. Create and maintain workforce planning scorecard and dashboard.

  • Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities within the Resource Planning & Enablement (RP&E) team and share observations on processes within the business areas supported.

  • Use data-mining, analytics, statistical analysis, and reporting tools to build capacity planning artifacts and s and other workforce management deliverables.

  • Participate in cross-functional efforts and develop project deliverables for various enterprise initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, mathematics or a related field or an equivalent combination of professional related work experience.

  • Minimum of five to seven years workforce management experience.

  • Established understanding of forecasting methods to include, moving average, linear regression, simple and linear exponential smoothing, single and linear exponential smoothing, Holt Winter's Additive and Multiplicative, ARIMA and Box Jenkins.

  • Strong eye for business matched with a high degree of relationship building and interpersonal agility.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, negotiate and influence with and without direct authority at all levels of the organization.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience in advanced formulas, array formulas, circular references, tables formatting, condition formatting, advanced charting, pivot tables reporting.

  • Strong call center knowledge and experience.

  • Expert Excel skills and experience with VBA Macros, data tables, simulations and solver, integrating Excel with other tools optimizing Excel.

  • Major explanatory forecasting to include trend extrapolation, driver based, simple regression, multiple regression, econometric models and multivariate methods.
