What you will do:
Provide support to business clients and the IS Department by understanding the business requirements and priorities for new and/or existing systems and processes. Assist in business clients with system changes, problem resolution, documentation and process improvement initiatives for new and/or existing systems and processes. Participate in assigned projects. May develop project deliverables for various project scopes.
Support project / support activities that are focused on meeting business objectives Participates in project/support assignments that have a limited scope and size. May develop project deliverables for small projects or segments of large projects. Prepares documentation associated with assignments. Executes quality assurance plans necessary to enhance/maintain system/process efficiencies. Investigates application problems with support from the IS Department. Provide recommendations / solutions to business issues in order to support decision making Applies functional/technical knowledge to analyze a business and/or system problem and respond to questions. Supports business clients by understanding the business requirements for new and/or existing systems and processes.
Support departmental technical environment Uses knowledge of hardware, software and the LAN to resolve technical environment issues and provide implementation support Uses knowledge of business processes and application systems to resolve issues and provide implementation support.
Implement / maintain business-area development applications Uses software tools to assist in developing solutions to include, but not limited to, management reporting, decision support and/or small applications.
Assist and identify process improvements in order to meet departmental goals Identifies and participates in process improvements within a function of the business area.
Provide communication and customer service to key business partners Acts as a liaison to exchange information between business clients, field and the IS Department.
Functional / technical learning Functional/technical components are being learned at this level.
Bring Your Best! What this role needs:
- Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in MIS, Business or related field preferred OR a significant amount of directly related work experience beyond the minimum required for the position.
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience/knowledge of business operations/processes to include analysis, documentation, system audits and/or project/support management.
- Experience with office productivity tools required.
- Familiarity with business area development preferred.
- Project management methodology through project life cycle phases preferred.
- Process / Time Management.
- Ability to manage concurrent assignments.
- High degree of personal initiative and motivation.
- Customer Focus / Relationship Building. Ability to establish and maintain client relationships while providing quality customer service and support.
- Independent, autonomous work ethics with the ability to listen attentively to client objectives and be responsive to client needs.
- Seen as a team player and is cooperative and supportive to group decisions and ideas.
Written and oral communications skills with the ability to build rapport with others.

- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion when making decisions in a timely manner.
Good analytical abilities in decision making and problem solving.
