What's the role?

The Program Adoption Consultant is responsible for supporting advisors, Ensembles and their staff as they onboard to and navigate new home office sponsored programs related to the growth and viability of their practice. Programs includes Lead Advisor, FR on Team and any new teaming initiatives driven through the multi-year strategy. This role will reside in Shared Business Services as part of a team that provides advisor on-boarding and adoption consulting for Financial Planning Services (FPS) and the Private Client Group (PCG).

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Consults to the field and home office business partners on all matters related to Lead Advisor requirements and systems. Includes onboarding, system access and license and registration conditions.
  • Supports field accountants or staff, with research and analysis to solve accounting and payroll problems and questions.
  • Works with Distribution Policy teams to coordinate and educate field members on requirements for quarterly audits and appropriate books and record tracking and retention.
  • Prepares and maintains ownership over cross-departmental reporting for various levels of management. Includes program highlights, feedback and overall program success
  • Analyzes and follows up on transaction discrepancies. Includes working with compensation admin team, our digital product partners and field members.
  • Provides guidance and support to business clients and the IS Department, including system improvements, problem resolution, documentation, and process improvement initiatives for new and/or existing systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of business processes and application systems to resolve issues and provide implementation support and communication.
  • Uses software tools to develop solutions to include, but not limited to, management reporting, decision support and/or small applications.
  • Identifies, defines and manages process improvements in order to meet departmental goals
  • Provides communication and customer service to key business partners.
  • Acts as a liaison to facilitate an understanding and partnership between business clients, field and the IS Department.

Requirements:

  • Education Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Business Analysis, Project or Program management, Business or related field preferred OR a significant amount of directly-related work experience beyond the minimum required for the position.
  • Four or more years’ experience/knowledge of business operations/processes to include analysis, documentation, and/or project/support management.
  • High degree of personal initiative and motivation.
  • Customer Focus / Relationship Building Ability to establish and manage relationships while providing quality customer service and support.
  • Seen as a great teammate and is supportive of group decisions and ideas.
  • Written and oral communications skills with the ability to establish rapport at all levels of the home office and third parties including senior leaders, consultants and external partners.
  • Decision Making / Problem Solving Ability to exercise judgment and discretion when making decisions in a timely manner, often with limited information and under deadlines.
  • Strong analytical abilities in decision making and problem solving.
  • Knowledge of NM Distribution system and field facing business consulting experience preferred.
  • Experience with industry practice management and/or Ensemble business model program desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize consulting and project work and make the outputs visible and transparent with both the client and key internal stakeholders.
  • High degree of self-motivation, self-starter, and leadership with initiative in sharing information, contributing towards group goals and accepting responsibility for results.
