What's the role?

Our Operations Fulfillment Manager role is a key team member who manages a pool of employees and deploys them to different business areas in alignment with business demand. Someone who is proficient in organizational change and people development or training will be a big asset to our team.

We're in the middle of a digital transformation, so this team will need to quickly learn the new processes and be able to plug-and-play in any business area, as required.

In this role you'll manage the team, including hiring, performance in the role, and their development. You'd also have responsibility for the overall staffing model and supporting budget.

There are lots of opportunities for continuous improvement, which you'll accomplish by applying the expertise of your team members to the demands in the business. The team will also likely need additional training, which you'll mentor through and support.

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible work experience emphasizing leadership, team building, communication, problem-solving and decision making, and personal development.

  • Proven ability to drive engagement of team through coaching, team building, celebrating success and managing through change.

  • Demonstrated ability to set expectations, motivate individuals and manage through change. Achieves positive results and makes them visible to department. Excellent organizational change experience is required.

  • Sound decision making with proven skills in interpreting data to drive improvements and anticipate future consequences and trends.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and multi-task in a production environment.

  • 3-5 years practical people management experience working with staff in an operational environment where effective supervision and mentor were demonstrated.

This job is not covered by the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement.
