Summary

Our mission is to build a fabulous and efficient experience for our Workplace Portal environments, specifically the our field/sales facing website. We are seeking a dedicated developer to lead all technical aspects of the work in a C# and Javascript based context.

Job Description

  • Lead technical design and develop this new Workplace Portal on the Optimizely platform with an appreciation for customer journeys and future facing design.
  • Implements well-rounded solutions applying working relationships across the enterprise. Designs, organizes, and carries out high impact solutions across teams both within and outside their division.
  • Establishes, aggregates, and shares enterprise standards and best practices. Mentors and guides junior engineers within respective division.
  • In a DevOps environment, you move between diverse tasks with partnership and persistence, helping to bring out the best in those around you.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 6-8 years professional application development experience
  • 5-8 years of proven experience leading teams using modern engineering tools, languages, and practices.
  • Experience working with Content Management System (CMS), specifically Optimizely (previously called Episerver).  Ideally including the new CMS 12, and information architecture concepts.   This includes taxonomies, metadata, content types, templating, and navigation.
  • Consistent track record of successfully designing and delivering significant and impactful technology solutions.
  • Expert for the organization in:
  • .NET development (preferably C#) including exposure to .NET Core
  • JavaScript, ES6, NodeJS, React, Redux, RESTful services
  • CI/CD experience (we use GitLab), AWS
  • Understanding and exposure to cloud-based development including PaaS and SaaS, and Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • Exposure/Understanding of automated testing concepts: unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and Test-Driven Development
  • Ability to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences in varying forms and levels of detail.
  • Proven understanding of design patterns and architecture.

Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with Search Engines and User Interface applications that interface to them (e.g. Lucidworks, Microsoft Search, and SharePoint Classic Search experiences)
  • Have a passion for operational excellence, problem-solving, and ownership in accomplishing ambitious goals.
  • Continuously upgrade own technical skills, to understand and influence architecture and supporting infrastructure.
  • Drive continuous improvement through operational measurement and analytics.
