What you will do:

  • Apply engineering best practices in order to analyze, design, develop, deploy, and support Managed Investments software solutions.
  • Develop business intelligence solutions and quickly react to ad hoc data requests for Managed Investments data.
  • Contribute to the design, development, continued maintenance, and necessary refinements for a data warehouse storage solution and associated semantic layer reporting solutions.
  • Act as a Center of Excellence on business intelligence tools in an investment and risk context and contribute to the development of reporting norms and standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the team.
  • Identify data quality issues and their root causes. Propose fixes and design data audits.
  • Contribute to a collaborative work environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions.

  • Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments.

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Programming, Data Science, or a related technology field.
  • Relevant experience and/or education in Finance or Investments preferred.
  • Experience in college-level programming classes required.
  • Expertise in one or more business intelligence tools or languages: Power BI, SQL, WebFocus, Incorta, Excel (advanced), Python.
  • Novice programming skills.
  • Awareness with Agile methodologies.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction.
