ICS Agile Delivery - Assistant Director

Summary

An Assistant Director for Agile Delivery is responsible for leading the department in strong agile delivery processes across the product domain teams. This individual would lead a strong group of scrum masters & agile coaches within the ICS department. This team at large is responsible for maturing agile practices at scale & moving teams towards modern deliver practices. Focus on team building, servant leadership, & being data centric.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for a full range of manager responsibilities including communication, mentoring and staff development, performance management, salary administration and staffing decisions. Participant in functional management to ensure optimum efficiency and quality by leading adherence to strategies, goals, budgets, operating policies and procedures as an NM frontline manager. Directs the overall accountabilities of individuals involved with agile teams and ensures outcomes and results of those individuals. Is a great partner across product teams. Oversees the individuals involved with agile mentoring & delivery that impact the organization business processes and systems technologies.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • A minimum of 9 years of professional experience.

  • A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience

  • Experience with project management methodologies or SDLC (systems development life cycle)

  • Passion & experience in Agile, lean, DevOps practices

  • Ability to quickly & calmly tackle conflict & resource staffing as needed

  • Experience reporting agile metrics & driving right behaviors
