IAM Engineer – DevSecOps / Privileged Access Management

In this position, you will collaborate with multi-functional teams supporting a set of diverse technologies. We take an automation first approach to strive towards improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our Privileged Access program with a focus on Secrets Management. This is an outstanding opportunity to build upon technical experience in a diverse cloud security engineering environment!

Position is open to remote candidates across the U.S.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engineer solutions with a DevOps focus on automation to reduce manual/repetitive tasks
  • Actively assess and recommend tactical and critical initiatives based on new and emerging threats posing risk to our environment
  • Stay apprised of current and proposed security changes impacting regulatory, privacy and security industry standard methodologies
  • Assist with technical support of Secrets Management capabilities and respond to service and critical issue tickets within service-level agreements
  • Partners with higher level staff on complex issues
  • Has an excessive understanding of Identity and Access Management technologies and tools, including Authentication and Access techniques
  • Possesses outstanding working knowledge of effective engineering practices
  • Exhibits appetite for continuous learning and improvement

  • Strong documentation, testing & automation skills - Comfortable writing code and peer-reviewing code
  • A self-directed individual contributor with a strong sense of ownership and capacity to work with a limited set of requirements
  • Familiar with traditional or cloud computing, including networking, compute, storage, app development, data, operations, or security
  • Competency with development and scripting languages, Python, Terraform JavaScript, Java, Ruby, Go, PowerShell, Bash, C#, C/C++, etc.
  • Proficiency with development of DevOps pipelines, Gitlab CI, & HashiCorp vault preferred
  • Ability to work on an Agile team and able to breakdown work to deliver value incrementally and prioritize work based on business objectives.
  • 1-2 years experience with HashiCorp Vault would be a plus!


  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information systems OR equivalent work experience in the IT field
  • 1-3+ years of professional experience required, preferably in DevOps and/or AWS
  • Experience with engineering practices that include analyzing, designing, developing, deploying and supporting software solutions, and/or infrastructure implementations/upgrades.
  • Experience with the following domains: DevOps, AWS, and/or Privileged Access
