IAM Consultant - Process, Administration and Certification Team

Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information systems or equivalent work experience in the IT field Works under general supervision

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cross-functional liaison within IAM, business, & IT partners to gather requirements

  • . Build, review, and maintain documentation to ensure it reflects current processes and/or procedures as it relates to IAM

  • Provide direction for testing of new functionality

  • . Drive improvements and/or automation to existing processes which help to secure while providing a user-centric mindset

  • . Prepare and/or perform various certifications and retain evidence of the data source

  • Facilitate the implementation of new functionality through training and demos

  • Analyzes daily and monthly reports for discrepancies, corrections, and/or modifications. Follows up with responsible individuals.

  • . Accountable for consulting / advising on the Identity and Access attestation processes as required to comply with security policies and standards related to IAM.

  • Implement best practices, and address requirements related to Identity and Access Management.

  • May Partner with other IAM teams for collaboration, impacts of ongoing IAM project/enhancements

  • Work to recognize and facilitate resolution of dependencies between engineering teams both internal and external

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in MIS, Business or related field; or equivalent work experience in the IT field, with at least a portion of that time in Security related position

  • 4-5 years of professional experience

  • Solid grasp in the following IAM domains: SSO/Federation, Directory Services, , Privileged Access, and/or Access Certifications

  • Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate in both business & technology terminology based on the situation and audience.

  • A solid understanding of IAM concepts and systems

  • Knowledge of key IAM standards

  • Strong ability to independently identify and resolve critical and complex issues through effective problem solving skills

  • Strong ability to maintain and strengthen relationships; ability to effectively influence and negotiate with internal and external partners

  • Validated organizational savvy with demonstrated tact and diplomacy

  • Proven ability in dealing with ambiguity

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work with a limited set of requirements

  • Strong ability to align and mature to security practices

  • Strong ability to prioritize work based on business objectives

  • Strong ability to breakdown work to deliver value incrementally.

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to logically analyze and creatively solve complex issues independently.

  • Knowledge of current compliance regulations and the solutions vital to meet them

  • Experience preferred with Agile methodologies/DevOps environment

  • Experience preferred with Visio

  • Experience preferred with IAM software and systems, such as Sailpoint IIQ, AWS, Azure SSO, Microsoft MFA, and/or CyberArk
