A core piece of that investment will be our newly created Field PR Strategist position – a key team member who will partner with our nationwide network of financial advisors to generate local-market PR results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Executing highly effective, innovative and fully integrated grassroots communications initiatives, with media relations as the centerpiece.

  • Working closely with a variety of spokespeople, supporting media interviews and crafting compelling content that advances the company’s relevance.

  • Partnering with PR agency team members while seamlessly collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders.

  • Measuring PR successes, showing how earned media efforts are building positive brand and business outcomes.

To help ensure success, qualified candidates will also:

  • Bring demonstrated ability to cultivate ongoing relationships with local news and spokespeople media across multiple markets.

  • Boast strong writing skills that can be applied to and adapted for multiple audiences and channels.

  • Bring a team mentality, strong work ethic, positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understand the company’s products, services, structure and unique value proposition.

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Journalism or a closely related field.

  • Have 5 years of experience as a PR practitioner, journalist or communications strategist.
