About the API Software Transformation Lead role:
In this role, be a champion for new Enterprise Architecture standards by engaging with the internal software engineering community.
- Partner with internal software development teams to implement well-rounded solutions using working relationships across the enterprise.
- Design, organize, and implement high impact solutions across teams both within and outside their division.
- Establish, aggregate, and share enterprise standards and standard methodologies.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers within respective division.
- Ensure production stability, monitoring, and root cause analysis is performed for their products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 6-8 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- 5-8+ years of experience leading teams using modern engineering tools, multiple programming languages, and practices; primarily Java and JavaScript.
- Exposure to containerization using Kubernetes/docker with exposure to GitOps .
- Direct experience with the end-to-end API lifecycle management , from build to deprecation/retirement.
- Experience with Trunk based development and DevOps deployment using Feature Flags
- Understanding of database performance issues and resolution.
- Nice to have: Experience migrating databases to AWS using DMS.
