What's the role?
The Communications Strategist works with the Client Experience & Digital Communications Team to help develop, implement, and manage communications that support and advance the company’s priorities. You’ll work with a variety of business partners to understand business objectives, and then build and deliver communication plans that inform, educate and influence leaders, employees, field teams, and other stakeholders.
You’ll help define communication objectives, determine delivery strategies, and create assets (communication plans, talking points, articles, videos, and presentations) that build awareness and understanding of our clients’ digital purchase experience. Through close collaboration with colleagues and target audiences, you’ll brainstorm innovative communication ideas and approaches, and demonstrate effectiveness through measurement and program assessment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Synthesize and distill complex information to author clear, comprehensive, and compelling stories that build understanding and create excitement around key company initiatives
Plan, manage, and implement integrated communication programs that inform and align target audiences with strategic priorities.
Guide the work of internal partners and outside vendors, as appropriate, to ensure that execution supports the communications strategies and achieves client objectives.
Identify and connect collaborations across multiple teams as part of an integrated, cross-functional team.
Evaluate the effectiveness of communications and assess the return on the communications investment.
Recommend, develop, implement, and maintain communication standards for the department by assuring that quality standards are present in departmental communications.
Bring Your Best! What this role needs:
6 or more years of experience in professional communication, public relations, organizational communication, marketing, or related communication field.
Dynamic writing abilities across a variety of mediums
Demonstrated experience with communication planning, objective setting, and key message development based on analysis of business problem/opportunities.
Ability to listen to, engage, and influence clients, synthesize and relate complex information, analyze communication problems and opportunities, and develop and implement integrated communication strategies.
Knowledge of how to effectively communicate across a range of mediums, including articles, presentations, events, and video.
Demonstrated skill in project management with ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines.
Willingness to adapt style and build consensus with client group leaders.
Ability to solve complex problems and analyze information from multiple resources to make business decisions.
Willingness to question the status quo and develop innovative ways to advance business objectives through communications.
Ability to work independently as needed.
