What you will do:

As a Centralized Supervision Consultant you will become an integral member of the team with a focus on consulting and partnering with various areas of the home office and the field. You will work directly with field supervisors and advisors to help cultivate meaningful relationships while educating advisors on how to efficiently grow their practice in the right way. In this role you will collaborate across the division, department and enterprise regarding supervisory concerns, risk mitigation strategies, sales practice concerns and trends. You’ll also be responsible for effectively performing supervision duties, delegating work to other team members, and acting as a technical expert and leader by being a talent multiplier.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate an environment that supports collaboration while promoting inclusivity and willingness to seek diverse perspectives
  • Perform supervision and actively manage case workloads for several different tasks and supervisory work streams that include, but are not limited to, transaction monitoring, best interest of new accounts and middle-office operations, and planning tool output reports
  • Move quickly with enough due diligence to resolve unique problems that offer limited information
  • Forward thinker with the ability to anticipate problems and provide solutions to these problems
  • Strong consultation skills and ability to help train and guide field members and supervisors through complex and unique scenarios
  • Act as a technical resource on more complex matters while providing training, coaching and quality review to others across the team
  • Know how to gather and analyze data to mitigate risk in addition to effectively communicating these findings to field and department leadership
  • As a potential team lead within Centralized Supervision workflows – manage pod caseloads and volumes, coach, and mentor pod members, conduct periodic calls with field supervisors to address trends, partner with regional counterparts across the home office and handle complex case escalations

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in insurance or financial services industry is preferred or minimum of 5 years of financial services compliance or supervision experience.
  • FINRA Series 7 & 24 required
  • FINRA Series 9/10 preferred
  • Strong ability to coach and mentor others on the team while demonstrating superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems, take a new perspective on existing solutions, exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Learn to take risks, be open to giving and receiving feedback and have the desire to grow and develop
