What's the Role?

Both a strategic thought-leader and hands-on driver, experienced at facilitation, design, prioritization and execution, working across the enterprise to align around NM’s employee value proposition to craft an outstanding employee experience.

How You'll Do It:

  • Works closely with key stakeholders to understand critical employee interactions and journeys, coordinates and executes cross-functional programs crafted to improve the employee experience, and embeds talent focus and insights as a top priority
  • Responsible for developing and implementing ongoing employee experience engagement programs, tactics and events, and providing consultation to others who are accountable for delivering engagement programs
  • Establish baseline employee experience journeys and moments that matter, collaborating closely with internal Voice of Employee team to ensure consistent grounding in talent data and insights. Provides design thinking leadership and journey mapping facilitation and consultation, implementing tools and methodologies to engage targeted customers.
  • Partners closely with human resources centers of expertise and corporate communications to influence a well-rounded engagement and communications strategy and approach
  • Partners closely with internal Voice of Employee team to develop a deep understanding of talent data and insights, collaborating on impactful programs and venues to define engagement strategies and talent solutions
  • Regularly brings together teams and key collaborators across the enterprise to build awareness and understanding, capture input, create alignment, promote integration and drive end-to-end design and implementation
  • Acts as a change agent, focusing on talent strategies and plans that will elevate employee experience and engagement to improve adoption and minimize resistance
  • Uses data and insights to recommend action and influence customers, including at the senior leadership level
  • Develops and implements plans to operationalize and embed employee experience across the enterprise
  • Leverage data, research, and insights to craft and build coordinated talent experiences enabling a detailed end-to-end employee experience to positively impact engagement, performance, and retention
  • Supervise and drive formal employee experience improvement programs for addressing perceptions, preferences and experience gaps

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with minimum of 10 years of meaningful experience
  • Passionate experience advocate with a highly developed desire to build extraordinary experiences and drive data and insights advised solutioning
  • Ability to work across the enterprise (home office and field) to educate and inspire collective action at all levels
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and build credibility and strong partnerships in matrixed organization across business functions and levels
  • Excellent storyteller, including written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong eye for business and process improvement skills; dedication to continuous learning and improvement
  • Comfort with ambiguity and proven track record to perform in “start-up” mode
  • Shown project management capabilities and ability to handle multiple projects that vary in scope and complexity simultaneously
  • Skilled in operating at both strategic and tactical levels
